8/12/26 - This is a rare Nazi contract pistol - the Spanish Astra 400 (1921). There were only ~6,000 Astra 400's produced for the Nazi contract, all in 1941, as evidenced by the Awschalom factory letter which detailed the serial range for this contract. This one was delivered on October 18, 1941. It is all matching has no Nazi military markings (correct). It has retained about 99% of its original bluing. There is a small area of light wear at the back right of the slide, a small area of oxidation at the right front of the frame, and a series of tiny dings on the back edge of the slide and frame. Fitted with mint period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
