Description

4/27/18 - This is one of the rarest TT-33 variants ever produced - a Hungarian made Model 48 pistol. This is a mint, all original and all matching example, retaining 98-99% of its original blue.  There is just a small amount of muzzle wear and freckling at the muzzle.  The rig is as issued with original holster, lanyard and two matching magazines!  Perfect grips with Hungarian Soviet era crest, excellent bore and no import markings. Every part is proofed with Hungarian “02” acceptance proof that is also present on the magazines.  Very few of these guns made it into the US, most likely either with military personnel stationed in Europe in the 1950s or via Vietnam as bring-backs.  To find a complete rig in such outstanding condition is nearly impossible.
