SOLD - Rare, Minty Mauser M03 Rifle

3/22/21 - This is a rare Mauser M03 rifle in the original case with all the extras. The Mauser M03 was designed to be the premium modular bolt-action rifle for any game, on any hunt. This particular example features a .300 WIN MAG barrel and a .375 H&H Magnum barrel. Those two cartridges share the same bolt and magazine, allowing the two to be easily interchangeable. This particular rifle also features grade 6 wood, a significant upgrade over the base package design. Our consignor bought this rifle new and only put about 50 rounds through the .300 WIN MAG barrel. That barrel has two minor surface scratches on the left side, otherwise the rifle looks like new. The .375 H&H Magnum barrel is factory new and unfired. The receiver shows no signs of wear or use, and the stock has just a couple minor hints of handling wear. The case includes two sets of scope rings mount - a 1in set and a 30mm set. These use Mauser's "quick detach" design and can retail for $500 just on their own. The case also includes the original manuals and Mauser paperwork, takedown tools, sling, etc. From Mauser's own catalog: "The M 03 represents the best of modern innovation but with genuine recognition of Mauser's past, continuing in the legacy of reliability, tough form and devastating function.
