SOLD - Rare, Minty Police Simson Luger - Matching Magazine

7/30/20 - This is a very rare Simson Luger with original matching magazine that was issued to the German Police, and perhaps the finest example we've ever encountered of a Simson Luger. There were only ~12,000 Simson Lugers produced in total, so it's likely that only a few hundred remain that are police issued and have the original matching magazine. The blue on this one is 98+% with just a tiny bot of high edge wear. There's also a bit of oxidation on the straps. Beautiful original straw on the small parts rates at about 90%. All small parts have Simson proofs, including the screws. The grips are in excellent condition with the full, matching serial of the pistol stamped inside. Bore is strong and shiny. No chamber date. Police sear safety is in place. There is also a police unit marking on the front strap that appears to read '4.N.b' but not sure exact meaning.
