Description
10/20/26 - This is a rare muzzle-numbered Walther PPK issued to the SS in 1937, chambered in 7.65mm. The serial is in a solid block of other muzzle-numbered SS guns, and the slide is numbered around the muzzle, matching the serial number on the frame - a distinctive feature of these SS contract pistols. It is all matching with the proper "Crown N" proofs. The original finish rates roughly 50%; the slide has lost the majority of its bluing, with heavy spotty oxidation and pitting throughout, and there are a few small scratches on the frame. Fitted with a period-correct brown Walther grip, and comes with a proper Walther banner-only magazine that is technically matching-numbered, but the number is not authentic. Excellent bore with strong rifling, 9/10.
