4/17/20 - This is a terrific example of a rare Nazi contract pistol rig - the Spanish Astra 400.  There were only ~6,000 Astra 400's produced for the Nazi contract, all in 1941, as evidenced by the Awschalom factory letter which detailed the serial range for this contract. The pistol shows hardly any finish loss to the original blue, but there are a few areas of surface pinpricking, mostly along the rails on each side of the pistol. The original grips are in excellent condition with only minor handling wear. Original magazine is present. Unfortunately, the bore wasn't well cared for on this pistol. It has frost and freckling in the grooves, but does have strong rifling.
