Description

11/15/19 - This is an amazing, near-mint example of a scarce and desirable Mauser K98 variation, made at the French Mauser factory and marked 'svw 45'. All numbered parts on the rifle are matching and there are no import marks. The finish on the gun is almost entirely phosphate and it is in minty condition. There are a few areas of discoloration throughout, typical of late war finishes. A few of the small parts are blued. The stock is also in excellent condition. It is not numbered, which is correct for a gun this late, but it is waffenamt. The bore is excellent - shiny with very strong rifling. Functions properly.
