Description
7/22/20 - This is a nice example of a rare Walther PP from the WW2 era. ¬It is NSKK marked and issued, which was the designated official transportation branch of the NSDAP. ¬There were about 3,500 such pistols issued, and ~100 reported serials. This pistol is all original and correct with about 93-94% blue remaining. ¬The majority of the finish loss is found on the edges of the slide, and bottom of the back strap. ¬Excellent grips and finger extension magazine. ¬Crown/N proofs on slide and frame. Minty bore.¬

From Axis Pistols: "In 1930, the NSKK was designated the official transportation branch of the NSDAP. ¬Its primary mission was to meet all the transportation needs of the Nazi Party. ¬Motorization won Germany for the NSDAP and with it they expected to conquer the world. ¬At the outbreak of World War II, the NSKK assumed important military transportation responsibilities. ¬By 1943, almost all of the NSKK was on active service either with the Army or the Waffen SS."
