Description
5/11/26 - This is a rare Walther PP from about 1938 that was issued to the NSKK. The Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps (NSKK), or National Socialist Motor Corps, was a paramilitary branch of the Nazi Party active from 1931 to 1945. Originally part of the SA, it became independent in 1934 under Adolf Hühnlein and focused on motor vehicle training, driving instruction, and mechanical skills. Members, identifiable by brown uniforms and a winged wheel swastika insignia, provided transportation and logistical support for the Nazi regime, and during World War II the NSKK played a key role in moving troops, equipment, and supplies for the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe. Disbanded in 1945, it remains of interest today to historians and militaria collectors for its distinctive uniforms, insignia, and role in the Third Reich’s motorization efforts. This particular gun is all matching and bares the iconic NSKK logo on the left side of the slide. While there is not much actual bluing loss, there is noticeable, somewhat heavy pitting on the whole left side of the gun and toward the front and rear of the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct Walther banner finger extension magazine. Mint bore.
