3/2/22 - This is a very rare Police Mauser P.38 with Eagle/F marking on slide, one of only 1,500 produced. It's also serial number 5000! It's all matching and original, with maybe 95% of the finish remaining. The late-war dual-tones are often tough to rate as finishes were thin or dull in general, but this one generally has just minor high edge wear and maybe some thinning of the front strap. Excellent, shiny bore. Good mechanics. Also has excellent black grips that have not been shaved.
