Description
2/25/26 - This is a very nice example of a rare Walther PPK with RZM marking on slide, issued in 1934. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP, and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This particular example has all the proper features, including crisp RZM marking on left side of the slide next to the typical Walther model designation and patent markings. Correct "Crown N" commercial proof stamps, and 90 degree safety lever. The pistol itself has retained about 94% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the wear is concentrated around the high edges of the slide. Fitted with an excellent original grip and comes with a period-correct finger extension magazine. Excellent bore, shiny with strong rifling.
