Description
3/6/26 - This is an example of a Walther PPK from 1935 with the RZM marking on the slide. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and filled many contracts for the Nazi Party. These Walther PPK's were offered to Nazi party members via a party catalogue at a discount. This one has about 80-85% of the original, high-polish blue remaining. There is spotty wear along the entirety of both sides of the slide, wear concentrated around the muzzle, and wear over the fire blued safety. The frame shows some bluing loss on the trigger guard. Fitted with a period-correct brown grip with a small crack on the top of the right side above the Walther banner. Comes with one finger extension magazine. Bore has deep rifling but has frosting throughout. The de-cocker is functional, however, the grip prevents the safety from full range of motion unless pressure is applied to the top left of the grip.
