5/28/21 - This is an excellent example of a rare Erma Sportmodell training rifle, chambered .22 LR. This gun was designed for the Nazi military and paramilitary organizations but was not adopted. As a result, less than 1,000 were made. These guns are generally thought to have gone to the SA as many have been observed with SA markings. What makes the gun unique is the takedown button on the stock. This one is all matching and has "Crown B U" proofs. The gun is excellent. It has retained virtually all of its original high polish blue with minor handling marks here and there. The stock is excellent with minor dings and scratches throughout. There is a notable crack in the top of the stock just behind the action. The top layer of wood is separating there, though does not go all the way through. The bore is mint.
