Description
10/23/2024 - For sale is a rare, Soviet Korovin TK pistol made during the Inter War period. The Korovin TK pistol is considered the first successful semi auto issued to the Soviet military. These pistols were treated as how Germans would with the ppk. They were presented to officers and as gifts, but also were used by NKVD officers. The pistol has seem some hard use and the slide has lost the majority of its finish. The sides are well worn with a hint of bluing left. The bluing on the frame has started to age and turning grey and brown. There are spots of oxidation visible and wear on the path of the safety. The grips are well worn but there is a crack on the right panel. The barrel still retains a good bit of its bluing. The bore is bright but frosted. The holster well used and worn. There aren't any major flaws. The inside of the flap is stamped with Cyrillic that we cannot decipher. The holster does not seem to be original to the Korovin pistol when compared to other examples but the pistol fits nicely inside. The belt loops look to be replacements as they are not the same finish as the rest of the holster and the stitching is rough and also a different color.Specifications
