SOLD - Rare Sports-System Dittrich MP-38 C Pistol

9/25/24 - This is a very rare SSD MP 38-C pistol made in Germany and imported by I.O. Inc in North Carolina. A very small number of these were produced in Germany, and the first we've offered. This is not one of the new production examples made by DK in the United States. The gun is in mint condition, with little to no sign of use. Classified as a pistol with closed bolt operating system, its overall length of 25” with a folding stock mechanism that has been disabled by use of a pin survives for aesthetics only. The quality is top notch from finish on exposed metal areas, which include numerous waffenamt to the flawless receiver and sights. It has a spot-welded thread protector at the muzzle, protected blade front sight and two leaf flip up rear sight for elevation changes. Right side swing swivel at barrel nut. Left side non-reciprocating charging handle. Bakelite grips and receiver.
