Description
9/21/26 - This is a rare Walther PPK issued to the SS in 1941. All matching and "Eagle N" proofed. We know this one is part of an SS contract because it falls into a solid, known serial range, and the slide is externally numbered before this became standard practice for Walther. This exact gun is listed by serial number in Tom Whiteman's "SS Contract Walther PP/PPK" book (pg 69). It is categorized as being part of the Seventh Contract, in an order of 500 guns. It does not come with a matching-numbered magazine. The gun's original high polish finish rates somewhere between 85-90%. There is noticeable muzzle wear, but the most obvious sign of wear comes in the form of splotchy discoloration, a few spots of oxidation, and some minor pitting on the slide (mostly on the right side). Fitted with a proper brown Walther grip - small crack in the spine. Comes with an un-numbered finger extension magazine. Mint bore.
