Description
7/29/26 - This is a rare third-variation "Zero Series" Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The left grip panel is waffen-proofed and numbered but not matching to the gun. The right panel is not numbered or waffen-proofed. It comes as a rig with an un-marked magazine and a fairly worn hard shell holster (there is a partially visible waffen proof but no visible date). The gun has old re-blued finish. There is almost no actual finish loss, but there are a few noticeable pits on the barrel, some very light pin-pricking under the finish on the left side of the slide, and some very light surface scratches on the right side of the slide. The bore has good rifling but shows light pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
