Description
9/3/26 - This is a rare third-variation "Zero Series" Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The grips are waffen-proofed and matching-numbered. It comes with a numbered magazine (not matching but fairly close in serial number) and a very nice 1940-dated holster. The gun has retained roughly 80-85% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also muzzle wear and spotty wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. The bore has great rifling with just some very light frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
