Description
9/24/25 - This is a rare French Unique Model 16 issued to the Nazi military during WW2. All matching with a "Waffen 251" military acceptance proof on the right side of the tang. The Unique 16 was produced by Manufacture D'Armes Des Pyrenees, Hendaye, France. On June 22, the French (Vichy) government signed an armistice with the Germans which allowed the German occupation of Hendaye. The Pyrenees factory came under German supervision, and the Unique 16, Unique 17, and lastly the Unique Kriegsmodell were produced for the German Army (a waffen stamped six shot Unique termed the Model 15 has been reported). Estimated procurement of 2,000. The gun has lost most of its original finish with brown patina throughout. Fitted with black plastic grips and comes with one magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
