Description
6/3/26- For sale is a rare USMC marked Robeson Shuredge fighting knife. A variety of Navy fighting knives were made, eventually standardizing on the iconic USN Mk. 2 "Kabar" design. The Robeson Shuredge is the rarest and most desirable Navy knife, especially since this particular model is marked as a USMC issue. The blade is worn with both patina and scratching/grinding. The blade has been sharpened. The base of the blade is stamped "Robeson Shuredge" on one side and "U.S.M.C." on the other side. The leather handle is intact with some wear and scraping to the leather. The last ring is a bit loose, as is the crossguard. The handle has the appropriate large red spacer. The scabbard is also worn but has no tears or major damage. The black stitching indicates that this is an original Robeson scabbard. Overall in good condition.
