Description
5/22/26 - From Tom Whiteman's personal collection, this is an excellent example of a Walther Mod HP from the 2nd Swedish Contract. This shipment contained an estimated 500 Mod HPs, or only about 0.07% of all P.38 production. This HP has retained toughly 90% of its original finish, with most loss existing as some light high-edge wear. There are also two areas of finish loss on the barrel; one below and one on the right side. The bore on this Walther is bright with tall rifling, though the edges of the rifling do show some wear. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grip panels with no chips or cracks. Comes with an unmarked magazine. Fully functional, including de-cocker.
The purchase of this firearm will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Tom Whiteman stating that this is from his personal collection.
