Description
8/11/26 - This is a very nice example of a rare Walther Mod HP delivered to Sweden in about 1939. This one is part of the first contract, one of only about 1,000. It has the proper features, such as a square firing pin and an "H" serial prefix. These pistols were delivered from Walther to the Swedish Army via Widforss. This one also comes with a magazine that is numbered and not matching, but it is very close in serial number. The gun's original high polish finish rates about 94-95%. There is very minor high edge and muzzle wear. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is scratchy wear along the right side of the slide. Fitted with the correct checkered black bakelite grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional. The front sight blade is marked "+1.75" on the left side.
