Description
8/11/26 - This is a very nice example of a rare Walther Mod HP delivered to Sweden in about 1939. This one is part of the first contract, one of only about 1,000. It has the proper features, such as a square firing pin and an "H" serial prefix. These pistols were delivered from Walther to the Swedish Army via Widforss. This one has a mismatched, second contract Swedish upper (slide, barrel, and locking block). The gun's original high polish finish rates about 96%. There is very minor high edge and muzzle wear. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some very light scratchy wear along the right side of the slide. Fitted with repro checkered black bakelite grips. Comes with an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
