Description
8/20/26 - This is a nice example of a rare commercial Walther PPK from 1938 with million series serial number. In 1939, serial numbers began rolling over into seven digits until the Germans changed their mind and went back to six digits with a K-suffix. There were only about 7,000 such serials used, and about 1,000 of them were Police marked. This is one of the 6,000 commercial examples, and it has retained about 90-92% of its original high polish finish. The wear is mostly around the muzzle, with a couple of small spots of wear on the right side of the slide. Fitted with a period-correct brown grip - no cracks or chips. Comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only magazine that has a reproduction finger extension bottom. Mint bore.
