Description
7/14/26 - This is a nice example of a rare Mauser Model 1914 from the Weimar-Era. It is all matching with an "S.D.P." police unit marking on the front strap, which indicates it was issued to the Police Department of Dresden. It comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine and a 1918-dated "LZ. St. H. Dr." tan leather police holster that is marked "SATTL-LIEF-VERB SITZ DRESDEN". The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original bluing. The wear is concentrated mostly on the front strap and along the high edges of the slide. Fitted with a period-correct wood grip - just minor bruising. Very nice bore with good rifling.
