Description

7/29/26 - This is a rare Simson Luger from the Weimar Era. There were only ~12,000 Simson Lugers produced in total. Because Simson was a Jewish-owned company, it was forcibly taken over by the Nazi regime in the early 1930s as part of the broader process of Aryanization, marking the end of its role in Luger production. It is all matching and has the proper Simson proofs throughout (even on the grip screws). This one is of the blank chamber variation. It comes with a period-correct but mismatched Simson magazine (fairly close in serial number). The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, but there is also general high edge and muzzle wear. Some light scratches and marks here and there. Fitted with matching-numbered and "Eagle 6" proofed grips. The rifling in the bore is fairly worn with light pitting throughout.
