Description
6/30/26 - This is the rarest of all the SS-contract Walther PPK variations. It is a Type 1, which has the serial stamped on the muzzle and is RZM marked on the slide. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP, and was established to contract for equipment. This variation is rarely seen and we have only offered a few before at Legacy. This one is matching, "Crown N" proofed, and dates to about 1935. It has been entirely re-blued, so there is very little actual finish loss - just some very minor muzzle wear and a few small dots of discoloration on the frame. Fitted with an excellent brown grip with great black marbling. Comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only finger extension magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is light spotty oxidation/pitting throughout.
