Description
3/7/26 - This is a nice example of a Remington Rand 1911A1 that was reworked at RIA post-war. The gun was originally manufactured in late 1944 or early 1945. The parkerized finish rates at about 85%. It shows light muzzle wear, wear along the edges, wear along both sides of the slide, and some handling marks on the frame. There is a spot of discoloration on the left side of the frame as well. The pistol has a correct High Standard barrel. Bore is a darker with pitting and frosting throughout. Grips are in excellent shape with no cracks or breaks. Gun has a single Scovill marked magazine. The gun comes with a 1917-dated holster in very good condition. It has some scuffing along the back of the holster. The gun also comes with a WW2 era belt (hard to make out date stamp but looks like 1942) and a 1918-dated magazine pouch.
