Description
3/23/26 - This is a Remington Model 1858 Army Revolver from the Civil War. Chambered in .44 Caliber. The gun is fully functional. The gun is in very nice condition compared to many you'll see, retaining the majority of its original high polish bluing. There is honest flaking in the finish throughout (most obvious on the back strap, on the top strap, and along the barrel) and some light spotty oxidation here and there. On the right side of the frame, there is minor pitting and an area of scratching. Fitted with period-correct wood grips - there is a visible military cartouche on the left side. The bore is in great shape for its age - it is mostly shiny with strong rifling, but there are a few small spots of surface oxidation. Fully functional. No FFL required.
