Description
2/6/26 - This is a very nice example of a Remington Rand 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. There is a cross-canon cartouche on the frame, military "P" proofs, and the proper "FJA" inspection stamp. Correct HS High Standard barrel. It has retained about 94% of its original parkerized finish. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of thinning on the frton grip strap, but there is also minor high edge wear and a couple of scratches on the left side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct plastic grips. It comes with a proper general shaver magazine. Stone-mint bore.
