Description
08/24/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1903 made in 1918. The rifle has a nice phosphate finish throughout the metal with slight browning from age and patina. The stock has been modified for sporting use. Some cuts were made at the comb behind the grip, the wrist was thinned, and a heavy buttplate was installed. The surface was finished and lacquered. The trigger had been modified for a 2.5 lbs single-stage pull. The bore is bright with good rifling, but there are a couple of spots of pitting visible. The muzzle erosion rating is 1. The barrel is stamped SA 10-18.
