Description

8/1/19 - This is an original 1942 production Remington model 1903. The rifle has been rearsenaled as indicated by the rack number on the right side of the stock, as well as the refinish on the barrel and receiver. The receiver has an aesthetically pleasing plumb coloring and the finish is dark throughout. Overall the metal is in about 95-96% condition. The bolt is laser etched with a number that doesn't match the receiver, but there are "R" Remington proof stamps. The wood stock has a few normal dents and dings, but the most notable issue is a small repair on the left side just below the rear sight. The bore is excellent with minimal wear, 9/10 overall. Makes this rifle a great shooter!
