7/7/19 - This is an original Rock Island Arsenal marked holster for Colt Double Action “New Army” .38 caliber revolvers. Often referred to as 1892/1896/1897/1901/1903 Flap Holsters. Maker marked and dated on the back 1909. In good condition with embossed U.S. under the flap. Military unit number stamped on front flap. Missing the bottom cover and about 2" of loose stitching. However, still a nice piece of US history and priced to sell.
