Description

8/24/20 - This is an original and correct RZM marked Walther PPK from 1934-35. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. The condition of this particular gun is difficult to rate, because while there is not much actual bluing loss, there are noticeable areas of spotty discoloration and pitting. It is most noticeable on both sides of the slide. There is also minor muzzle wear. It comes with an excellent brown grip - just a few small surface scratches on the right side. It also comes with a period-correct finger extension magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling and just very minor frosting in the grooves.
