5/18/26 - This is an example of a Sauer 38h issued to the German police force during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle C" police acceptance proof on the web of the trigger guard. It has retained about 50-60% of its original wartime finish with virtually all of the finish loss coming from the slide and some on the grip straps also. Fitted with reproduction black grips and comes with a Sauer-marked magazine. Bore has excellent rifling but there is frosting between the grooves.
