10/2/24 - This is an good Sauer 38H magazine made during WW2. This particular magazine has the less common zinc base plate, this plate has the Sauer & Sohn double S logo and is in good condition. The base plate has lost it's original finish. The body of this magazine most of its original finish. The body does have writing lightly scratched into the right side of the magazine saying "F/D 26 Feb 96" and near the base plate on the left side "CC# 19302". There is additional finish loss in the areas that are associated with standard magazine use. The spring is strong and fully functional.
