Description
2/26/26 - This is a nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi police force during WW2. All matching with the proper "Eagle C" police proof. It comes as a rig with two zinc-bottom magazines, an un-marked magazine, a set of spare post-war ivory-colored plastic grips, and a 1942-dated police holster (there is an ink stamp on the inside, but it's hard to read). The hole in the closure strap has been modified. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original wartime finish. There is very minor thinning and light brown patina along both sides of the slide with a couple of very light surface scratches. Fitted with excellent black bakelite grips - there are a couple of barely-visible hairline cracks on both sides. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
