SOLD - Scarce 1906 DWM Luger Rig - Portuguese M2

Description

6/16/20 - This is one of the approximately 5,000 Model 1906 DWM Lugers made for the Royal Portuguese Army. The Royal Portuguese Crest of Manuel II is present on top of the chamber, with the DWM scroll marking on the toggle.  A triangle in a circle is marked on the rear of frame and barrel underside, as well as on the mag bottom.  All parts are matching with the serial number on the frame and barrel, takedown latch and side plate. Grips are in good shape with unnumbered right panel and mismatched left panel.  This contract was for 5,000 Lugers in 30 caliber, and without the lug stock. The original finish is about 85+%, with notable patina of the sideplate and a few patches of finish loss on the trigger guard, bottom of front strap and rear of frame.  The rig is complete with an original holster, takedown tool, cleaning rod and mag pouch.
