Description
7/2/26 - This is a great example of a scarce 1933 Police Luger holster. The holster is in great condition overall with the original black leather and matching black stitching throughout. The leather itself is sturdy, yet pliable and shows no signs of any rips or tears. The finish on the leather only shows minor surface-level blemishes, primarily on the flap to the left of the strap, and on the front of the holster, under the lid to the left of the strap. The strap itself is still strongly secured, but does show some light surface cracking from repeated use. The stitching on this holster is still very tight with no signs of pulling or tearing. There are 2 stitches that are missing from the left side of the muzzle end of the holster. The back of the holster bears the Sunburst D police acceptance mark, "GUSTAV REINHARDT BERLIN" makers mark, and the date (1933) stamped on the back in between the belt loops.
