Description
7/9/26 - This is a very nice Kriegsmarine Luger holster manufactured in 1938 by Curt Vogel. This holster is in great condition with minimal wear. The leather itself is sturdy, yet pliable with no signs of any rips or tears. There are some light surface scuffs on the top edges of the lid, and some wear on the holster towards the muzzle. The back of the holster bears the maker's mark "Lederwarenwerk - Curt Vogel - Cottbus - 1938" in between the belt loops. Below the maker's mark, someone has tried to "de-nazify" the holster by removing the Waffenproof and the Kriegsmarine eagle, however both the top of the Waffenproof and the Kriegsmarine "M" are still visible despite the attempted removal. On the inside of the lid, someone wrote the serial number "1964". The stitching on the holster is in great shape with no signs of any pulling or tearing, and no missing stitches.
