Description
6/23/26 - This is a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. This particular example is especially scarce because it is transitional with mixed "Eagle 655" and "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It is all matching and is fitted with an excellent set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips. Comes with a black widow style magazine that has an original fxo tube with a reproduction black bakelite bottom. The gun itself has retained roughly 70% of its finish. There is obvious wear on the grip straps, finish loss on the left side of the frame and right side of the slide, general high edge wear, and muzzle wear. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable spotty freckling in the grooves.
