Description

1/6/23 - This is a nice example of a matching and original Walther P.38 from December of 1943. It's a scarce variation with 'ac 43' marking in a single line on the slide, only found in the 'n' and 'm' serial blocks, one of about 18,000 made. The finish on this one is difficult to rate as there isn't much actual bluing loss, but some patina throughout. Strong, shiny bore. Original black grips but the right panel has a chip in it. De-cocker doesn't function, but safety does. Scarce Walther mag with two spine proofs.
