Description
7/23/26 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Model 1934 issued to the Kriegsmarine in about 1939. This one is categorized as a 2nd variation with a "Closed Wing Eagle M" Navy marking on the right side of the frame and an "O. 3285" navy unit marking on the front strap. All matching. This particular gun comes from the collection of Jan Still and includes a COA. It is also featured on Page 168 of the "Axis Pistols" book. It comes as a rig with a mismatched "N121" navy property marked magazine and a navy "Eagle M" marked holster. The gun has retained about 90% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the wear is around the muzzle, but there is one small spot of wear on the front strap, and light spotty discoloration on both sides of the gun. Fitted with a very nice period-correct one-piece wood grip - there is a chip in the bottom left corner of the left side. Very nice bore with good rifling.
