Description
7/17/26 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Model 1934 issued to the Kriegsmarine around 1940. This is a 4th variant with the "Eagle M" marking on the right side of the frame and no navy property marking on the front strap. One of about 6,000 made. This one comes from the collection of Jan Still and comes with a COA. The gun is matching and has retained about 96% of its original finish. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are small scratches and marks on much of the gun, most noticeable on the left side of the frame. Fitted with an excellent period-correct black bakelite grip - tiny chip along the edge of the right side. It comes as a rig with one proper magazine and an un-marked Navy-style holster. Very nice bore with only minor frosting in the grooves. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine.
