Description
3/6/26 - This is a beautiful example of a scarce Mauser C96, manufactured in 1911-15 and chambered in 7.63mm Mauser. It is all matching and "Crown U" proofed. This one is part of the Siamese contract, as evidenced by the small floral/sunwheel design on the back strap, as typically seen on weapons acquired by the nation of Siam (modern Thailand). A limited number of Broomhandle pistols (both Mauser and Astra varieties) are known to have been acquired by the government of Siam, likely for police use. This one also comes with a matching-numbered stock. We believe the metal lug is original to the gun, but the wood itself has been replaced. The gun has retained about 98% of its original finish with just hints of muzzle wear and a few tiny handling marks here and there. Fitted with excellent, matching-numbered wood grips. Mint bore.
