2/20/26 - This is an original 'byf 42' Mauser P.08 Luger variation often referred to as a "Black Widow" due to its black bakelite grips and black-based magazine. This Luger has retained roughly 75-80% of its original finish, with most of the thinning on the straps and around the barrel, and with additional high point wear in general. This is an all-matching P.08. The grips that are fitted on this 'byf 42' are original black widow-style grips with no chips or cracks. The magazine is stamped with the period-correct "fxo" mark and is fitted with the black widow style baseplate. The bore on this Mauser is bright with some light frosting throughout. Strong rifling still remains.
