Description

7/31/26 - This is an excellent example of a scarce Smith and Wesson top-break spur trigger revolver from the late 1800's.  This is also known as a "Baby Russian", and was the first .38 caliber revolver introduced by S&W, beginning in 1876. All matching. Chambered in .38 caliber with a 4 inch barrel. This gun has a factory nickeled finish. There are just a few small areas of oxidation around the butt of the frame and on the front strap. Other than that, the gun is beautiful. Fitted with period-correct blackish brown hard rubber grips. Like-new bore. Fully functional. It comes with a period-correct box and cleaning rod. The box is not numbered, but there is a "NICKEL PLATED" ink stamp on the bottom. No FFL required.
