1/18/20 - This is the fairly rare and very coolly designed Whitney Wolverine pistol in original box. This example is in near-mint condition, with minor scuff marks on the right side of the barrel, likely from shifting in the box. The gun otherwise looks almost unfired, with minty bore, grip frame, grips, etc. There were only about 13,000 of these pistols produced, all from 1955-62, though most were blued such as this one. These pistols are well known for their retro space age design and lightweight, aluminum frames. It doesn't have a slide, rather a tubular shroud, which has an anodized finish. The pistol comes with the original box and manual, and the manual shows these pistols could be ordered for $39.95 at the time. Box is hand numbered to the gun.
