Description

5/20/25 - For sale is an Enfield Mk1*** SHTLE made in 1907. The rifle is the predecessor to the famous No1 Mk3 SMLE. The rifle shows plenty of wear from age. The receiver retains a good majority of its military blue but some patches of finish loss and oxidation visible. The stock show plenty of handling marks but no cracks or breaks. The bore has bright lands but the grooves are darkening. Rifling is still fairly strong. The rifle has visible matching "3140" on the receiver, bolt handle, and nose cap. The 2nd number of "2296" matches the forestock and rear sight.
