5/9/24 - Manufactured using a combination of original military and new manufactured parts, this is a semi-automatic copy of the infamous MG42. The MG42 is one of the most iconic weapons of World War II. Known for its high rate of fire, it quickly became known as "Hitler's Buzzsaw". After World War II, the MG42 continues to see active combat in conflicts across the globe. Fitted with a conical recoil booster/flash hider, flip up blade front and tangent rear sights, metal bipod, trigger pack with bakelite grips, and wooden buttstock. This one has matching numbers on the buttstock, cover, bolt handle and more. Mismatched to the receiver serial number. Excellent finish with only minor wear. Strong bore with minimal signs of use. The action on this one does seem a bit tight and buyer may want to have a gunsmith look it over and service it a bit before use.
